commercial shoot// biola university’s talbot program.

If you’re still tracking with me, congrats! You’ve made it to day five of my five day blogging spree.

Here we have something a little different than the typical lovey-dovey that I’ve been posting. Biola University recently asked me to come in and shoot for a new campaign that their Talbot graduate program is promoting. They let me barge into one of their classes (which was moved to a nicely lit room for the shoot) and stick my camera in students’ faces. Then we took some of the faculty and students out around the campus and did some more lifestyle type shots.

Party.

Ok, ok. So post number four is a bit late, but after spending the whole day on a plane it was the soonest I could throw it up here. And I’m making it a point to post before I hit the sack, so that counts for something right?

Here we have Mariah and Todd from last week’s wedding that I shot with Steve Hoffmann. It always does me proud to see a great name attached to a great venue (hint: it’s The Villa), and it’s hard not to enjoy spending a gorgeous day in San Juan Capistrano.

Hint to potential clients: Low key is the best key. Elizabeth and Dan are exactly that. Fun, chill, and just enough spunk and sarcasm to fight back when I start getting a bit too fresh with them. And how can you not love a couple that jumps from traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai to serenading all of El Dorado Park on a banjo?

Undecided on the ridiculous amount of flare here. Thoughts?

Peace out!

Alrighty… Day two of five here at Mike Villa Visuals’ blog extravaganza. And this will be a good one :)

This is all going to sound EXTREMELY cheesy and cliche, but I’m going to say it anyways: Sometimes you meet a person (or two) and you just click. Two (or in this case three) awesomes collide and create one giant bowl of awesome. And that’s how I feel about hanging out with Kaley and Travis. Not to mention they get bonus points for forever changing my life by introducing me to Haven Gastropub.

So that’s that. Unfortunately for you dear readers, you must rely on mere photos to try and soak in all the awesome.

Happy Weekend!

Ok. For reals this time. I’m back to blogging. We’re going one blog post per day for the next five days, so try and keep up!

One thing’s for sure, Lyndsey and Ryan know how to throw a wedding. If you missed out the first time around (the first time they appeared on the blog, NOT the first time they got married) be sure to check out their awesome Downtown LA engagement shoot. A big thanks to Joberooni for coming and helping out on this one.

Enjoy!

Yeah, Mariners puts on a good show:
